The Company
These are dance miniatures by choreographer Gintaras Visockis, which lift the curtain on the unique life of ballet troupes.
The choreographer chose composer Max Richter’s interpretation of Antonio Vivaldi’s cycle “The Four Seasons” as a symbolic axis, reflecting the rhythm of the life of a theater ballet troupe. The dancers are viewed as a small community of people that forms in the theater ballet studio. It is a living and pulsating organism, creating the miracle of dance for the audience every evening, which exists only in that moment in time and space, and behind which lie
real, living people with their happiness, misfortune, joy, and pain, their daily work and sweat in the ballet studio. They strive to dance better, to rise higher, to give themselves completely to the audience and to Dance, which is always somewhere up there, high above, and within themselves.

E-MOTION
These dance miniatures were born from the question: what emotions make the body dance? Each of them has its own chemistry, brain waves, movement, and trace in the memory of our cells. Dance transforms neurochemistry into poetry.
Emotion is energy bursting forth in movement. However, the title also contains a paradox – E-MOTION. In the age of artificial intelligence, when systems learn to imitate and simulate everything – from our voices, thoughts, and human connections to creativity – these miniatures search for the fragile boundary that cannot be created with code. It is a visual dialogue between the digital mind and pulsating humanity.

The choreographer delves into the dancers’ human feelings, aspirations, and the everyday wonder of dance, which has taught them to fly. It is said that dancers are God’s athletes, and once a person has started dancing, they are like a bird that has learned to fly and can no longer stop.
